Reliable Signal & Lighting Solutions, LLC. was founded in 2006 by Enrique “Ricky” Del Cid and Larry Oviedo in order to make their childhood dreams come true. They met in Middle School and have remain friends/family since then. With their vast experience in the signal and oil field experiences, they have made Reliable Signal and Lighting the successful company it is today.
Reliable Signal & Lighting’s management team brings over ten years in the construction industry. Enrique “Ricky” Del Cid, started his career with Traffic Maintenance & Construction, Inc. in 1996. He worked in the field taking care of the underground work and than managed the installation of the communication system in most Metro buses and vehicles around 1998. From there, he had the opportunity to move to Traffic Systems & Construction, Inc. (TSCI) and KenMor Electric Company, LP. Mr. Del Cid started at KenMor Electric as a Project Manager/Estimator and over a four year period, he was promoted to Senior Project Manager. Another accomplishment was the completion of the four year Electrical Apprenticeship program offered by the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC).
Larry Oviedo, Vice-President, brings over seven years of experience in the management in the oil field. Mr. Oviedo has a bachelor degree in Business Management from the University of Houston. He has successfully managed large groups of employees making sure that materials and equipment are available for daily operations, along with reviewing all contracts that came trough his office.
In addition, we have two superintendents with each having over twenty years of experience and one more with over ten years of experience.
Reliable Signal & Lighting maintains six underground and six overhead foremen. Each of our foreman has over ten years of experience in the field.
